Global Solutions Pty Ltd (“AGS”) adheres to
the National Privacy Principles as extracted from the
Privacy Act 1988 as at 14 September 2006.
AGS only collects information that is required in order
to perform and complete our services. AGS is collecting
this information to assist with matching Candidates
with positions and we may disclose the content in connection
with your possible work placement. This will be in accordance
with the principles set out in our Candidate Information
Collection Agreement that has been provided to you.
In order to fore fill our obligations, AGS must receive
information pertaining to previous employment, education
and training, medical history (ie workers compensation)
and general personal details (ie name, address, date
of birth, payroll needs etc) from both staff, clients
and external resources (ie previous employers and referees.)
AGS collects information in written, verbal and electronic
mediums. For example employment applications, resumes,
verbal or written references from external sources or
electronic correspondence via our website or email address,
to name a few. All information, be it positive or negative,
is handled with confidentiality, respect and with the
knowledge of the individual. AGS offers a secure website
and internal document handling systems.
In conjunction with the individual, AGS will take reasonable
steps to ensure that all information stored, handled
or disclosed is up to date, accurate and complete.
AGS may at times need to allow access to personal information
to external sources ie IT consultants or auditors. Should
access need to be granted to a specific cases, the individual
will be formally notified, prior to access being granted.
In accordance with the National Privacy Principles Policy,
you are entitled to view your personal files at any
time.
AGS does not record information pertaining to a persons
race, religion, health or disabilities, sexual orientation,
criminal record, political opinions or memberships,
unless is it required to be disclosed as part of the
individuals employment application or by law. Should
the individual withhold such required details, AGS may
not be able to provide the relevant service to the individual.
